Halitosis is the term used for bad breath, is a common
problem experienced by many people and be considered shameful. Because it was
not a joke, bad breath often invite social problems of its own. It could be a

What Causes BREATH?
Bad breath occurs due to sulfur content in the breath.
Halitosis can be caused by many things, namely:

of certain diseases, such as respiratory infections, digestive disorders, diabetes,
or abnormalities in the liver.
5. Xerostomia (dry mouth).
6. The use of some certain medications can cause dry mouth,
especially medicines to treat depression and high blood pressure. Xerostomia
can also be caused by abnormalities in the salivary glands so that the
production of saliva decreases. Moreover, the habit of breathing through the
mouth can also cause mouth tends to become drier.

Treatmentn for bad BREATH:
1. Brush your teeth twice a day, in the morning after
breakfast and at night before bed.
2. Do flossing once a day to remove plaque and leftover food
stuck in the crevice between teeth.
3. Cleaning the surface of the tongue regularly. This can be

4. Use anti-bacterial mouthwash to reduce the growth of
